Description

This board is a replacement for the original Stern Pinball  MPU processor & Soundboard.  This board replaces the BSMT2000 version (early).

This board is shipped to our distributors WITHOUT the following chips which can be easily swapped out from the original board.

U21 – Game Specific ROM

U209 – 68B09E

U9 – Note: If U100 is added from our supplier do NOT move U9.  Never have both

U6 – 68B09E

U7 – Game Specific ROM

U21 – Game Specific ROM

U36 – May Not Be Used

U37 – May Not Be Used

Installation instructions:

There are two different EPROM sizes used for the U7 Sound ROM and the W6 jumper needs to match the EPROM size needed for your game.  If U7 is a 27C1001 then the jumper at W6 should be installed.  Earlier games where U7 is a 27C512 EPROM should remove the jumper at W6 for proper operation.
